Terms of service
These terms govern the Sawoice product licence and service operated by SAWANT CORE LLP. Polar's separate buyer terms govern checkout and payment.
Legal and grievance identity
Operator of Sawoice at sawoice.com. Public legal, privacy, grievance, and customer-care contact is email-only.
These Terms form an agreement between you and SAWANT CORE LLP for your use of Sawoice. You must be at least 18, have authority to enter this agreement, and provide accurate account information.
At signup you affirmatively agree to the current Terms, acknowledge the Privacy Policy, and attest that you are 18 or older. Checkout records the versions and hashes presented for the purchase.
Subject to these Terms and your plan, SAWANT CORE LLP grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Sawoice for lawful personal or internal business purposes. Sawoice and its software, design, marks, and documentation remain owned by SAWANT CORE LLP or its licensors.
A lifetime plan means access for the supported lifetime of the purchased Sawoice product edition, subject to these Terms. It does not promise that the product, every provider, every operating system, or SAWANT CORE LLP will operate indefinitely.
Local transcription is the default and runs on the device. Optional Cloud Boost and Cloud TTS send the content required for the chosen request through Sawoice to the named third-party provider.
You must review the provider-specific notice before cloud processing. Remote sync may disable a sensitive feature but may not silently enable it on another device.
Transcriptions, translations, timestamps, summaries, and generated speech may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable. You must review output before relying on, publishing, sharing, or acting on it.
Sawoice is not designed for medical, legal, emergency, financial, employment, education, credit, insurance, law-enforcement, safety-critical, or other consequential decisions. Do not use it as the sole basis for advice, diagnosis, rights, obligations, emergency action, or physical safety.
You are responsible for giving legally required notices and obtaining permission from speakers, bystanders, employers, customers, meeting participants, and other affected people before recording, transcribing, transmitting, saving, or sharing their communications.
Recording-consent laws vary by location and context. A Sawoice notice or feature control does not obtain permission on your behalf.
You are responsible for account and device security, for activity under your credentials, and for promptly reporting suspected compromise. We may require email verification, fresh authentication, credential rotation, or device revocation.
Entitlements are determined by verified billing events, server reconciliation, and any separate complimentary/admin override. A checkout success redirect alone never grants access.
Polar Software, Inc. sells the digital product and processes payment as Merchant of Record and authorized reseller. Sawoice is licensed and provided by SAWANT CORE LLP. Polar calculates and displays applicable taxes at checkout and handles invoices, receipts, payment methods, disputes, and chargebacks under its buyer terms.
Sawoice and Polar have separate responsibilities and agreements. Polar's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy apply to checkout and payment. SAWANT CORE LLP remains responsible for the product terms, privacy, delivery, support, and accurate entitlement enforcement.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. The renewal price, frequency, and cancellation method are presented before purchase. Cancel through Manage billing; cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Access may end sooner for account deletion, fraud, chargeback, a provider-required immediate revocation, or a material Terms violation. Account deletion cannot complete while recurring billing remains active; the subscription must first be canceled or revoked.
Sawoice offers no voluntary refund window. Polar may issue refunds under its Buyer Terms, chargeback-prevention rules, card-network requirements, the published Refund Policy, or applicable law. Mandatory cooling-off, withdrawal, defective-digital-content, and other non-waivable rights remain unaffected.
A refund does not necessarily cancel a subscription, and cancellation must be completed separately. Refunds are paid through Polar, not directly by SAWANT CORE LLP.
Cloud providers, Polar (payment Merchant of Record only), Stripe, email delivery, hosting, database, operating-system, and model licensors may have separate terms, privacy practices, availability, geographic limits, and acceptable-use rules. Sawoice does not guarantee that any third-party service or model will remain available.
Optional cloud providers operate under their own published Privacy Policies and Terms, which are linked from the Cloud Processing notice and subprocessor register. Sawoice does not claim that providers share identical retention, training, residency, or zero-retention terms.
We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, payment failure, suspected fraud, unlawful use, provider-policy compliance, material breach, or legal obligations. Where practicable and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy.
You may stop using Sawoice, cancel recurring billing, and request account deletion. Deletion revokes sessions and server credentials and removes user content subject to legally required retention. Local-only data remains on each device until erased there.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sawoice is provided as available and without warranties not expressly stated. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, universal device compatibility, or that all defects will be corrected.
Nothing excludes a warranty, remedy, statutory guarantee, or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, or lost profits, business, goodwill, or data, arising from Sawoice. SAWANT CORE LLP's aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid for Sawoice during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, infringement obligations where applicable, or liability and consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer forums and jurisdiction that cannot be waived, courts in Maharashtra will have jurisdiction.
Before filing a claim, contact support@sawoice.com so the parties can attempt a good-faith resolution. This does not shorten a legal limitation period or restrict urgent or non-waivable remedies.
We may update these Terms for product, provider, legal, security, or operational changes. The effective date and version will change. Material adverse changes receive reasonable notice and renewed acceptance where required.
If a change is unacceptable, you may stop using the service and cancel recurring billing before it takes effect, subject to any rights or obligations already accrued.
